Meet the Founders: Adegoke Olubusi, Tito Ovia, and Dimeji Sofowora, Helium Health

Helium health was founded by three Nigerian entrepreneurs, Adegoke Olubusi, Tito Ovia, and Dimeji Sofowora in 2016. They are on a mission to improve global health efficiencies and outcomes using data and technology.

Adegoke Olubusi is the co-founder and CEO of Helium Health. Goke is one of Africa’s finest entrepreneurs at the forefront of technology disruptions across Africa. A Johns Hopkins University alumni and previously an engineer at eBay, PayPal and Goldman Sachs in the U.S., Goke has a penchant for solving tough problems. He served on the founding team of Africa’s leading social network with 30m+ users and received multiple honours/awards from Forbes, Chevron, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, etc.

Dimeji Sofowora, the co-founder and CFO is a lawyer with strong business acumen. He has experience in the legal & financial sectors, working with top firms such as Goldman Sachs. Dimeji obtained an LLB degree from the University of Leeds and an LLM from Queen Mary University of London.

Tito Ovia is the co-founder and head, public sector growth at Helium health. She has a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Manchester and has spent time helping organisations like Orbis and Lagos State AIDS Control Agency. Tito uses her invaluable experience to help Helium Health accelerate Africa’s transition to a technology-driven healthcare system.
