One of our portfolio companies – MDaaS Global is building Africa’s largest integrated care network to provide convenient, high-quality, and affordable healthcare for the continent’s next billion.
As of last year, the company had served a total of 76,635 patients across its centres. In November 2022 alone, they provided diagnostics to over 10,000 patients.
In the course of last year, they served 46,000 women, with women making up 60% of their patient base. MDaas has now expanded its reach to 10 out of 36 states in Nigeria, with a total of 15 diagnostic centres and 2 affiliate partners across these states. With this expansion, which happened in 2022, MDaaS Global is now the third-largest and fastest-growing diagnostics network in Nigeria.
Worthy of mention is the partnership formed with several other health-tech companies, including another portfolio company of ours Healthtracka, other tech companies are Reliance Health, Gerocare, & WellaHealth.
In addition, they doubled their referral network to over 1,000 active referring health facilities including primary care clinics, maternity homes, pharmacies, and secondary and tertiary hospitals.
