Last quarter, Vesti successfully extended its operations to Ghana and Zambia, culminating in the exciting launch in the UK. This event highlighted the fintech’s innovative platform, which has garnered a user base of over 200,000, and marking a significant milestone in the company’s 18-month journey.
Vesti’s Co-founder and CEO, Olusola Amusan, delivered the keynote on the pivotal role of Migration Fintech in empowering global communities. “In 2022, 1.2 million people arrived in the UK while 557,000 left, resulting in a net migration of 606,000 by June’s end. These figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) paint a dynamic picture of the UK’s evolving population. Vesti’s expansion into the UK is strategically aligned with its mission to empower immigrants worldwide. The UK’s significance as a gateway for migration-related activities makes it an essential destination for Vesti’s innovative platform.” he said.
