Job Summary
Vesti is seeking a talented backend/frontend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining both client-side and server-side applications using Node.js and JavaScript framework (ReactJs). The Node.js/JavaScript Developer will also work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy software solutions, as well as write clean, testable, and efficient code.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain client-side and server-side applications using Node.js and React
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop and deploy software solutions
- Write clean, testable, and efficient code
- Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Participate in code reviews, and continuously improve software quality
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in Node.js and related web development technologies
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Node.js/JavaScript Developer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, with a good understanding of its core principles and features
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Experience with database technologies such as MongoDB, MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
- Understanding of agile software development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Node.js/JavaScript development or related field
